For Thousands of years, mankind has looked to the stars for guidance in everything from naval navigation to romantic navigation. In todays terms this resulted in two scientific fields, both filled with the wonder that captured the hearts and minds of mankind since the dawn of civilization. Astronomers look to the stars, planets and other heavenly bodies to understand them out there, "float[ing] like a mote of dust in the morning sky" [Carl Sagan]. Counterpoint to them are the astrologers, who study the same night sky wanderers in a different way. By studying the patterns of people and events as measured by the calender that is the sky and Universe itself, they can use this calender to look forward and predict where these patterns might lead, not that much unlike a meteorologist (another profession born of the ancient sky-watchers).
Our sky-watching Siannia uses her unique Zodiac Board in conjunction with the Tarot and other Oracles to look to the stars and find the patterns that newspapers use to generate 12 general daily readings, but give a much more specific and useful reading, including (like a meteorologist) pinpoint accuracy for when certain possibilities may present themselves. You can find out more about Siannia and other oracles she uses here.
